Throwback on our First Autumn School !
From Monday 5th to Friday 9th September 2022, the first edition of the XL-CHEM Autumn School was held.
We welcomed the 2022/2023 XL-Chem classes as well as several scientists from around the world.
On Monday, we had the pleasure to welcome Dr. Larouche-Gauthier from Parazapharma (Canada); Dr. Anthia Matsakidou from the University of Thessaloniki (Greece); Dr. Jean Fournier from Oril Industrie (France); Dr. Julien Marin from NovAliX (France) as well as Ms. Géraldine Deliencourt from TFChem (France).
On Tuesday, we welcomed Dr. Nikolaos Nenadis from the University of Thessaloniki (Greece); Prof. Fabio Belinna from the University of Pisa (Italy); Mr. Julien Auvray from Oril Industrie (France), and Prof. Peter Karuso from Macquarie University (Australia).
On Wednesday, we organized a convivial day! The opportunity to gather our students and guests around enriching cultural activities, with the aim of creating cohesion and strong links. All this at the seaside, in Fécamp. We were also lucky enough to receive Prof. André Charette from the University of Montreal (Canada), as well as Mrs. Claire Guéroult, Vice-President of the Seine-Maritime department.
On Thursday, Prof. Norio Shibata from Nagoya Institute of Technology; Mr. Yohann Berhault from Oril Industrie; Prof. Zhongwu Guo from the University of Florida (USA) and Dr. Malgoraza Miastkowska from Krakow University of Technology in Poland gave their lectures.
We ended the week with lectures by Dr. Elwira Lawson from Krakow University of Technology (Poland); Prof. Anna-Maria Papini from the University of Florence (Italy); Dr. David Speybrouck from Oril Industrie (France); and finally Prof. Peter Karuso from Macquarie University (Australia).
The Autumn School was a great integration week for our students who had the opportunity to meet and attend the conferences of our internationally renowned guest researchers !
