The specificity of the Master’s program in Chemistry at the XL-Chem Research University is to allow its students to select the scientific courses they wish to take from the course portfolio taught in all Chemistry Masters programs of the Universities of Caen, Le Havre, and Rouen. This specificity allows each student to adapt their curriculum according to their professional project.

Thus, in our Master’s program, students are free to build a curriculum tailored to their professional project, with a total of 30 ECTS over the three semesters of the Master’s program. The Master’s program in Chemistry of Fragrances, Perfumes and Cosmetics at the University of Le Havre, Normandy allows its students to acquire and develop the most sought-after skills by companies in the Fragrances, Perfumes and Cosmetics sector through a solid and balanced training in chemical, physicochemical, and sensory analysis of flavored, perfumed, and cosmetic products.

This cosmetic chemistry training combines theoretical, experimental, and methodological approaches to provide the best possible scientific training. The training program includes professionalization through progressive specialization from semester 2.
